What the heck is a doggery?
I liken it to an old timey western word for a dive bar. A place where one can cut loose, laugh, have impolite conversations and share unbridled opinions. Ordinary and pedestrian yet somehow unique rather uncouth. Indeed it is a place that is sometimes rowdy and raucous, yet other times calm, quiet and melancholy; a place for friends and random strangers. Let’s head in and grab a beer.
I’m going to write about what interests me: history, politics, beer, buildings and the horror. It’s wide open, anything and everything, whatever comes to mind. Thanks for visiting – happy reading!
